I mained a cleric in EQ and you can certainly do work in most undead areas. You get Ward Undead at 4 so if you do undead camps and/or Befallen > Unrest > Lower Guk you'll always have the advantage plus as you wait for groups you can typically solo entrance/trash mobs in those locations to pass...

Gotcha. I wasn't sure if they made that available or not. I enjoyed the noob armor questions they implemented in the noobie zones at some point (can't remember when) but I heard most of it is broken or something to that extent.

I don't think they "look" better at all. Maybe it's Freeport's fault but I really feel the zones lost their color and appropriate scale to the player models. I think they are an absolute mess. Again, I think they got Nek fairly close but everything else is pretty poorly designed. This is all...

Same... I actually don't mind Nek. It's nearly a carbon copy of the original zone but Freeport is simply awful. I'm not sure how I feel about the Commonlands and RO's either. The scale just seems way off and the colors are just bleh... too much brown(TM)

I would buy a year long sub if they put the old zones back in.

Maybe Disney will buy the rights to make a theme park and/or ride out of it? Could be their big chance. lol
