I have this on my SSD and with 16gb ram I am always the first one to spawn in a new map, usually by a good 5 seconds too.

I haven't crashed once, but my machine is pretty beefy (i5-4670, 16gb ram, gtx770). You guys have turned off hardware acceleration for sound and so forth? On my old machine with BF3 my crashes were always sound related. The starting weapons are so bad, the eng. one being the worst. Better off...
