You wont need slow. I rarely cast it on my shaman unless Im grouping aganst obvious boss mobs that need to be slowed.

The solo progression, from my understanding of the server, is there after you get almost everything out of each expansion. I think if you played solo and geared up all of your guys and did all the quests (the important ones), you should be able to kill those lesser bosses and it still be pretty...
