SoO was not horrible on heroic, up until Thok / Blackfuse, which felt like horribly overtuned encounters. No 'new' content for close to a year is disgusting, however.

Battle for Middle Earth 1 was alright, though quite simple. Battle for Middle Earth 2 added a lot more options and an overworld 'conquest' style map like in Dawn of War. It also had the option to make your own hero for the various races.

Main problem with Dawn of War II is that they tried to remake the entire game, rather than just going with worked previously. Should have made DoW2 it's own series.

The first Dawn of War game (With the buttload of expansions for it) has game somewhat like Battle for Middle Earth. In that it is a campaign where you gain starting units/buildings/resources depending on the areas you control and you invade other territories/defend your own to expand.

Big thing with Agrarian skies, early on, is to get some silk trees up. Because you can cook and eat the silkworms if you are getting unlucky with apples/seed drops. Fishing is also a huge part of it early on.

The Agrarian Skies/Skyblocks mod/challenge is a lot of fun, but I could not see a multiplayer world of it. Adding more people actually makes it more difficult, as food ends up being your biggest hurdle early on.
