Sounds like you're describing The Lob. Used to be garbage, then they buffed it to the gills and it trivialised most encounters so the nerf bat felleth and now it's back to underwhelming. The latest DLC looks like it has some nice guns in it and I think you receive a class mod via the story arc...

I guess the problem is you're stuck between Prae and Castrum. If there were remotely any of the other 50 encounters it might be more bearable. I'm sure I've had Westwind before but that may not have been as an MSQ as I don't think there were any cutscenes to sit through on that, just pop up text.

Maybe taking out the mandatory cutscenes because that was such a great idea.

They're genius ideas because they get dumb, lazy folks to pay twice for a game. It's like paying RL cash for exp pots. You're literally paying to not have to play the game you're already paying a sub to play.

I tried reading Doctor Strange when I was a kid but the writing was all over the shop. I swear you had to be off your tits for it to make any sense. I was kind of spoiled though, the comics coming out of Britain back then, predominantly 2000AD, had some of the best writing and art I've ever seen.
