I own five different VR sets and Index is the best one I have used. It still has annoying God Rays (TM) but the controllers are good, the tracking is good, the sound is good, the resolution is decent but still needs improvement.

Have you tried "continual move" ? It is what I am using and it seems fine to me, try it out. Uses the thumbsticks.

I played through the first area and it is pretty cool in VR. You get a real sense of scale that you can't get without VR.
