Yeah. I basically had characters at 110 I had no intention of working on leveling up yet, but kept an eye out for the invasions, and quickly busted them out. The invasions are on a static timer that sites like Wowhead still monitor, so you can just check to see if it lines up.

It takes like 2 Invasions to hit 111 and they can be done in five minutes with the ability to fly in Broken Isles. EACH Invasion world quest gives like 65k-65k experience. You can also solo them, which is why I recommend them. So if you see one up, its usually a good idea to jump on it for...

Keep an eye on the Legion Invasion timers. At 110 they still give retarded experience so you can blast to 111 in no time, to give yourself a better jump through trollville.

We had some good hunters in our guild and they could top the meters with the right gear. They couldn't beat well-geared rogues of course for pure shredding, but they could do good. Back then you had melee weapons AND ranged weapons, so hunters could boost their stats with a 2hander or...

Forgot that there's a wickerman set up in the garrison for the Halloween event. So you don't have to go to the cities to get it if you still have your garrison hearthstone. The buff is 10% exp/rep for 2 hours so a quick hearth there and back is way faster.

Hallow's End event is live, and it has a 10% exp/rep buff that lasts for 2 hours. Headless Horseman event also gives experience, which is cool. There's also a new pet called Naxxy, that's a miniature Naxxramas...oh em gee. Plus a new toy you can buy with the treats that gives you another...

The stupid thing about leveling up now is that even with the heirlooms its a bitch, so I can imagine how bad it must be for raw character growth.
