Complexity is really out fighting EG in games 2 & 3. I miss the TI4-style round robin group stage where everyone played everyone else. Though that probably wouldn't work well for a shorter event like a major.

I would go as far as saying the top 6 or so teams in EU open qualifiers are probably on par with the whoever wins the NA main qualifier. What they really should do is split EU and CIS into two different regions.
