One reason I barely even try for gear. Few months ago 385 was end game tier now its just handed to players. I knew better to rush at launch and Then did warfronts one day at work for my entire shift and got full 340 plus the 370 piece in 7 hours. No incentive really to raid hardcore at all

Eq2 is the complete opposite of eq1 in terms of clunky. I still think its the funnest game to just run and jump around in. Movement feels so free

yeah in stormhold launch first few weeks there were no xp pots. Leveling was a great speed I felt. Problem is putting in all the effort of grinding all nighters to then find out end game was easy and poorly itemized

Its 100% a cash grab. These people buying all the xp pots mounts and all the other stuff on the market place that are pretty p2w. Remember the ones with familiars? People here were reporting guildies dropping over 1k trying to get some lol

So glad I accidentally got the book Before the Storm as a gift and I read it before playing this xpac. The best part was the story. I remember you not knowing if they got blown up in the book or not and then I found them and got my boi feathers

All the epic quest lines after prismatic were so annoying unless you followed the lore. I hated doing tons of simple solo quests for maybe 2 or 3 raid ones. Doing peacock on an alt and following the story to it was awesome though

You cant play the TLE servers without a sub. On regular servers it limits certain things you have the option to micro transaction. Cant really remember all of what they are tho

The thing is you have the option to do whatever you want. You can play hardcore or you can level casually by doing quests gridning instances etc. There isnt any 1 path you are forced to take which is why itll be fun. Youre also not gping to be punished for not "capping" something in a week...

Yeah the game is so uniform youre able to tell by their hp. Every piece of gear is the same just a little more stats including STA so more hp = better gear all around 99% of the time

Getting to max level in 3 hours by around getting poi discoveries and then killing shit with level 2 or missing gear at max level isnt really hard at all. The only reason things may seem hard is because like I said 98% of the player base is awful.

Because these servers arent worth poop socking. I did that on stormhold and then found out everything is easy and 98% of the player base is bad

Quick update for anyone who didnt play. They said there would be no xp pots but they ninja put them on a dbc merchant in game [nagafen atleast] and the best xp was running around zones getting disco xp. Youd literally get a full level in your 40s if you had an xp pot and went to ferrott and ran...

I could see some changes to make certain classes less OP and stuff like that but I dont trust current Blizzard with it at all. Ive played plenty of private servers past few years and the funnest parts have been the community needing to actually gear up and group etc. Vanilla was far from perfect...

I feel like people know what theyre getting into this time around though so they wont be stuck at 60 playing a spec they hate. Id be against dual spec.
