You'll do most of your walking with the analogue stick and hotkeys to turn. Sounds weird but you really get used to it. You basically just need arms length around you so you can crouch, grab low shit, etc.
Finally got time to beat this. Wow.
Valve proves once again that they have balls and are one step ahead of everybody else. I'm so glad they didn't just opt to follow the tried path of a million bland sequels.
This one is a game changer for me, and I'm guessing it will be my GOTY.
Movie style Picard is garbage and I don't know why anyone would try to draw material from that shit. They definitely don't like movie Picard and the point is that movie Picard is shit. The TNG movies were trash action films(minus Insurrection, which was just bland).
If open RPG world questing doesn't immediately hook you mentally, then I'd say jump into DOOM and get some simple visceral fun. It's a fantastic game. It's simpler to enjoy and you can always come back to Witcher when you know it's what you want to play.
It works perfectly fine. The biggest issue is the touchpad controllers. With free movement those touchpads are decent but just don't work as smoothly as a straight analogue stick. I watched it on an Index and Alyx was moving noticeably faster on versions where the user was using a Index controller.
The decision to NOT put in typical analogue movement was a mistake. Really bummed that you either have to continually move or use the teleport system. Otherwise, this is awesome so far.

Went in to the first one and, although I enjoyed it, I was a little bummed out how little emphasis on combat there was. This one apparently amps the combat up significantly so here's hoping.
Just waiting for pre-launch Shadowlands at this point. If I hadn't pre-purchased it, I doubt I would even care about that. I'm not sure what is in WoW's future that would excite anyone.

I wouldn't say it was interesting or deep, but Vanilla pvp had its moments. Just getting some OP thing and running around in a BG wrecking people was fun. I think the real issue is when you try to take it seriously and attempt to balance it. Arena is boring as shit.
The Vive Pro display is legit but definitely too expensive now that you can just go index for a full setup and better display. When I went the normal model on most everything else the display difference was really huge.
