There is like 20 named in the bucket so you have like a 1 in 10 chance of getting loot from the mob you want. Cord is like a 2% drop, so 1 in 50. The odds are like 1 in 500 for a Cord. Most cords are created by the quest.

You have to move around on top of the roof to actually get the pet close enough to attack. But being on the roof allows you to avoid having to kill a bunch of trash in between the named mobs.

Bind on Roof. From the roof can /pet attack all 4 of those named, Caitiff and Lasna. Can clear 3 picks before respawn at 60. Widowmistress in Najena is really good too because it has a turbo fast respawn like 5-6 mins.

The change is fine, we just need compensation buffs to Charm. The whole group doesn't have to leave combat. It's actually a massive buff to wizards.

Chasing 10 atk upgrade of Spirit Wracked Cord over Hate/Fear Classic armor is peak Classic EQ While Chasing a 11 ATK upgrade on Spiked Shoulderpads over the tower gear is totally pointless because the tower gear has 10 Charisma and Int which is totally more important for my Monk.

It's crazy that this game is 25 years old and gear can have a bunch of random irrelevant numbers and people will STILL unironically think it's better then gear that has less numbers but useful ones like AC, ATK, Haste and focus effects.

You can use them to port around to other cities or to do turn ins that require faction like Velious Armor. On free trade boxes are still far superior as secondary toons since they aren't tied to the same DZ lockout. IMO fundamentally change your mentality on free trade random loot servers...

But they killed AoW eventually. For guilds that aren't large, it's not about what people bother killing but the priority. You have less chances to do ST 1.0. So even if your goal is to "beat all the content" it's better to focus on ST 1.0. AoW will still be there in a week, ST 1.0 might not.

AoW loot is super trashy on a AoC servers. Everything besides the Ring is rot tier or sold for Krono. Vulak, Doze and ST1.0 are loots guilds generally don't get enough of. If you don't care about bragging rights and are after loot it makes sense for a smaller guild to Split KT/Statue week one...
