Motes of Light come from each level you earn above level 20. So do all of your dailles for those massive experience bumps (and chance at an exotic bounty) then go to one of the popular grind spots and grind engrams. They sometimes decrypt into motes of light.

This is so true. I've maxed my VG marks and now I have zero reason to do strikes. If I want reputation I'd do Public Event farming and even then I'm nearly to VGR3 where reputation no longer matters. Grumpus have you tried One-Punch Man PvP yet? I've topped the boards in a couple of games where I just said "Fuck it" and started shoulder charging everything. If they ever add a melee weapon like the sword in the SoC mission I don't think I'll use a gun again.

I'm not the biggest fan of grinding but I can do it towards a purpose. But fuck RNG grinding. I like this game but I need more progression and less RNG. I feel like more games these days are shifting towards RNG based reward systems and that it isn't just Bungie.

Went to gamestop and moved my pre-existing but never used 5$ credit to COD just to get the shader. I've used this same 5$ credit a few times now just to get gamestop's pre-order bonuses. It's to bad the Destiny sparrow GS bonus only comes on purchase since I am getting my Ghost through Amazon.
