I wouldn't worry too much about what you start with. I'm confident that any build can get you to at least yellow tier maps pretty smoothly. At this point you'll figure out how to fine tune your guy, or hate him enough to reroll but at least you'll have some currency and starter gear for another...

Flat phys from the new herald(probably the biggest one since all the current heralds mostly suck with voidforge), all that crap around the templar starting area finally has decent nodes to take, namelocking looks to be somewhat addressed, probably others I can't think of right now.

Well. you forget that the actual weapon itself has quantity on it. And deadeyes with QOTF move faster than anyone else. Boring maps is gonna be boring no matter what build you MF with, cause clearspeed and drops are the only things that matter, not really map "enjoyment."

Got around to playing the flashback event. First time trying traps out. This is pretty easy mode for levelling. May be my alternative starter to my usual Jugg melee guy.
