I think some of the garrison stuff is gated behind quests/zones but I am not 100% on which parts of it are. i know some followers are but I'm not sure how many "essential" pieces are.

Is Surv looking more viable now? Last I heard it got gutted pretty bad. I was planning on staying Marks and keeping BM as the OS (looks like it scales better?).

2 CST yes, midnight PST is the standard. I think they opened it early once or twice but maybe that was a different launch? I'm planning on being up and in around 130 or so.

I think total cost for Garrison startup (all plans etc) is around 10k, fwiw. I'm hyped for tonight, off work the next couple days going to hit the sack early after workout and dinner so I can get up and get after it at launch.

I also use ElvUI, I like it. Seems some of the settings get weird when you copy settings from another profile and the quest tracker breaks sometimes but overall I think it's pretty solid and it does look good.

I think as long as you have done the Blasted Lands quests you will be ready and can park by the portal. Khadgar will pop I believe and give the lead in.

Guaranteed drop on your first kill for the spec you are currently using, Normal+ difficulty. After that it is a random chance to get any of them.

Not sure if it was mentioned but Spectator mode confirmed for the expansion as well.

Packs are RNG, I would think if you are looking at investing in a competitive deck you should look at dust cost for said deck, you get a minimum of 40 dust per pack (with the opportunity to RNG a whole shitload more and/or get good cards you need). Some decks are really fucking expensive...

That's odd, I was unable to mine Rich Thorium and Dark Iron at various points leveling up. Maybe Rich veins and special ores have restrictions?

I think you still have to be relatively close (within 50-100 points maybe?) when I was leveling I outpaced mining really fast but could still gather nuggets (I think that's what they were called?) Combine 10 to make 1 ore, but I did get skills ups.

So much this, I have been projected to win almost every week and I end up getting blown out because players are putting up single digits and 0s. Fuck.

If you are buying a carry its highly likely you are just killing Garrosh, but you do have a shot at loot from him (I got the heroic chest piece on my Hunter in addition to my heirloom bow).

One of the things WoW does best is easing you back in to learn the game, plus start of an expansion is a great time for it should be a pro by 100.

Echoing Vorph, I didn't have a truckload of gold but the bit I had (around 50K) was huge in speeding/easing things up. I have gone through a decent chunk already but it has been undeniably useful.

I found out about the void storage my last go round, it's pretty much full now on my Pally heh. I too would like to learn more about garrisons. From the little I read you basically had no choice on it if you were raiding, all the more reason to level an alt or two I guess.
