Eh, Kha'zix mid while awesome isn't as powerful as you think if you end up against someone who knows what they are doing. Namely build a bit of HP and keep the lane pushed so he can't wander. Also if you can play a champ that can punish Kha'zix every time he tries to get CS pre-six, it is even...
Yeah, Kha'zix's power lies in the fact that he can quickly clear waves and then wander to another lane with a powerful gank and most solo queue players can't handle that. It also doesn't hurt he has everything else. His jungle is OK, but the problem is he needs gold to be effective into late...
Eh, it's not too bad since at that point you can generally carry. I find the worst is around 1200 because that's where many of the new players end up. When I ended up losing basically all of my placement matches due to rage quits and trolls I had to climb up from 1000 ELO and found that the...
Yeah, joysticks are terrible in this game. I mapped nose up and nose down to Mouse 5 and Mouse 6. That way I get fine grain control from moving my mouse but when I need to do a hard turn I just have my thumb hit up or down. I also turn my mouse to max sensitivity when flying in a plane.
I agree fully. Also, people are banning Kha'zix nowIt makes me really sad since I could always pick him and at least go mid, top, or jungle if someone wanted to be a jerk and take the position I called.
You should probably read up on the history of the whole thing before making claims about Christopher Tolkien. He didn't sell the rights, JRR Tolkien sold the rights to help pay for some kind of fund for his children before he died. That said, I will agree that he is whining a bit much...
Ah yeah, I've been in LoL tonight. About to log in and see what's up. One thing I've noticed about the NC is you guys really, really like to swarm air.
Do you have a char on Mattherson? Well, Goons is NC on Mattherson and they always have large numbers. I would like to point out however that VS on Mattherson have held Indar for a solid two weeks and counting right now
I got to play D&D Next at PAX for a five hour session. It was absolutely a blast and I like the direction they're going. It really helped my group had an amazing DM. It also didn't hurt that the cleric went full southern baptist preacher and kept trying to convert everyone, including the...
Of all the people whose complaints they chose, they had to choose Buzz. He makes valid points but he really does not need the attention. That said, last night was an especially good feeling holding off the entirety of the TR, including The Enclave and BuzzCut at Andvari Biolab. The best part of...
I am both happy and frustrated that people have realized Shredder Liberators make great AA platforms. Taking out those libs as a Scythe pilot is always "fun".
That driver should almost be an announcement post on the forums considering it fixes the gaping security hole in previous driver releases.
If you're just comparing the two graphics APIs OpenGL wins over Direct3D. It's more or less as fast, but beyond performance I find programming in Direct3D to be a a pain in the ass compared to OpenGL. Now I'm a bit of a hobbyist when it comes to computer graphics, but I do have discussions on...
Yes, but that was after filming was in progress. It was a combination of:
1) Oh crap we've shot way more film than we can actually put on screen for two movies.
2) $$$
Likely pretty much the same, by the time Del Toro left the script was written and most of the props, costumes, and sets were well into production. He still has some creative input, if I recall correctly.
Because it's a more effective defense to sit inside and shoot them as they teleport in? It gets you huge points and as stated above is very hard to break.
I am rarely alone and am in a fairly well organized outfit. Defending Biolabs consists of standing at the entrances to the teleporters and firing into the portals. There's no real tactics involved beyond making sure there's a couple of groups of AA MAXes on the air pads. Oh yes, if you're...
Rendering distance is a huge issue in big battles especially around Biolabs. When AA maxes can see you 500 meters away but you can't see them until you're within 100 meters there's a problem. In terms of the attacking force being a mindless zerg, it was pretty much the entirety of the NC faction...
Fuck Biolabs, seriously. Also I am really starting to hate the render distance of infantry in the Liberator. Nothing beats being taken out by invisible AA MAXes. Using the Biolabs as an example, Liberators should be perfect for clearing the vehicle pads for your infantry to gain more of a...
Just saw it, great movie. My only complaint is that it is perhaps 20-30 minutes too long. Of course those last 20-30 minutes are filled with explosions so it's a wash. On Leonardo Dicaprio...
Eh, on VS we've capped Amerish a few times in the past week. Heck we've capped all three continents a few timesI'm in the NoNonsenseGamers (NNG) outfit on VS Mattherson, if any of you want to join it let me know and I can refer you. The website is:http://www.nononsensegamers.com/The big rule...
It's a problem that pretty much all RPGs, JRPG or otherwise, have. So saying that FF8 is worse than others for this reason is stupid. I mean look at Skyrim, Dragon Age, etc. it is incredibly easy to trivialize those games too.
Yep, bottom lane is now played aggressively and one kill really changes the balance. The thing with Blitz is, he may miss most of the time, but all you need is that one grab to get the kill and put your lane ahead.
That number is crap, sure some pros make that much but the average is nowhere near that. I know for a fact that Team Dynamic only pays their players around $30k a year. Granted the players also do get to keep their share of prize winnings, but the prizes for most tournaments aren't really that...
Even with the Black Cleaver nerf Kha'zix will still be pretty crazy if you go mid or top with him. My build with him only grabs two Black Cleavers and I still do ridiculous damage. If I replace my one Black Cleaver with something else it's not going to change much.
As for Riot releasing...
The only reason films haven't been at higher frame rates is due to the technical limitations of film. Now that those limitations no longer exist why should we stick with 24 FPS? Imagine if we were talking about staying with a lower frame rate for the newest video games. Really it comes down to...
