You can interact with the league mechanic pretty safely (softcore tier safe) provided you are in an area that doesn't have a boss in it you'll have to fight. Juicing campaign bosses can put you in a situation where game is zero fun.

If we're copying the main hand and don't need blades I wonder if there will be some merit to having something like an animate weapon/impale support two link on splitting steel champion. Every time a boss is monologuing or invul hold down Z and get a pack of extra impale stacks on the duder.
