That's strange because my K400 will register from the next room over through a wall. Vvoid you could use ember media manager to scrape your library and create .nfo files for xbmc to use. not sure how your files are stored but if they don't have a .nfo in the directory it shouldn't affect...

To see folders for TV it's something like select the "..." then "files" etc I can't remember the exact steps but you can browse your shares for sure, if you don't figure it out I can check when I get home.

Yeah, if you don't want to use library mode you can just browse to your shares. XBMC scans your shares on start up/command by default so if I download something while it's already running I normally just browse to it and let it scan it into the library next boot. Cheap HTPC remote that works...

Dude, just build a cheap HTPC and use XBMC. XBMC is what Boxee was based on and with a HTPC you can do so much more. As far as remotes go I use a Logitech harmony, best remote ever.

Just fyi - 100% grass fed beef is super gamey tasting, most people will not like it. You need to grain feed a butcher cow/steer a few months before slaughter, it will taste much better. Ranchers I know call it "finishing with corn".
