I'm torn between warlock and hunter too. I thought I wanted to go warlock, but the hunter double jump was so much more helpful to me than glide. I think I also liked how intuitive the hunter felt simply because I tried that class near the end of beta and already had learned the gameplay...

I'd be shocked if they didn't add in matchmaking for raids. It makes zero sense not to have it there as a backup. What's the harm in doing PUGs as opposed to being locked out of the content?

Hmm if I'm reading the article right, you can't do raids with 5 other random people. You must have 5 friends online who want to do the raid with you. I don't like that. My play times are sporadic and unpredictable. I hope they at least give you the option to fill a raid party with random...

I'd be a lot more comfortable with the amount of content if they added 'named' or rare spawns with loot tables on the maps. I would be a lot more excited about exploring maps endlessly if I could run across a powerful mob that actually dropped some armor or weapons. Would add a lot of playtime...

Holy crap. This is me exactly. Everything you said hits the nail on the head, even finding time to play around a newborn schedule haha. Love the game, suck at the PVP. Hoping the PVP isn't integral to having an overall positive experience.

Anyone found anything interesting on the moon, outside of the mission? I've gone everywhere I can think of but not a single level 20 or ??? mob like on earth. Highest level mob I've seen on the moon was 7 I think.

Are golden chests an earth-only thing? Not seeing the #/5 overlay on the moon mission select screen. Also, got a killer sniper rifle as a reward for the moon mission. It has a power up I'm working to unlock that lets me pick up any kind of ammo by shooting it. Pretty handy, and I haven't...

I enjoyed the moon mission as well. Nice change of scenery and for some reason I really liked seeing the new (old with new color schemes) enemies.

On the first mission (not counting the tutorial level), there is a cutscene when you complete it. Is that characters voice done by Bill Nighy...Viktor from Underworld, among other things. Sounds so familiar.

Anyone know if the sharing of PSN logins would work for the digital version of Destiny on the PS3? I know you can load your PSN purchases on a couple of different consoles, but didn't know if that applied to a game that required constant internet connectivity. I do this with my brother...

So I need to be looking at the impact bar NOT the damage number? Crap, I probably threw away some good guns. I was wondering why my rifle with 55 damage seemed to take forever to kill mobs compared to some of my 39 damage weapons...the impact bar is barely visible.craaaaap

I think I've got a 63 or 65 damage sniper rifle. I'll check when I get home.

How far have you guys gotten on the explore mission? I was able to find some level 20 mobs on the forgotten shore but wasn't able to get past them. I also found some level ??? hallowed mobs underground. Also, loot chests are based on your level not the level of the mobs around them it looks...

That was probably my average score in the few PVP rounds I tried, and I wasn't on a Vita so I have no excuses. I am beyond terrible at it. So embarrassing.

I am sooo bad at pvp...I apologize to anyone who has been randomly paired up with me! Everyone is always jumping around and I can't hit them if my life depended on it. I've got all green gear at lv 8 and my main weapon supposedly is decent at 59 damage. Been trying to upgrade running missions...

Has anyone managed to kill a hallowed ogre yet? Ran into one yesterday and 3 of us (lv 8) couldn't even damage him. I've seen a few hallowed acolytes down in the dark a few times too but they were also ??? level and immune to my damage.

Got the beta downloaded and installed, then it requires another update to play, but it's only 24MB. This is on PS3.

Keep trying. I got that a handful of times too before I finally got in to download the client.

Background downloading Destiny beta for ps3 now. Says 45 min to go. PS3 users once you do everything Spronk said, go into "my downloads" on the PSN Store and click the Destiny Beta to start the 5.5 gig download.

Hmmm my Destiny Beta download says 5667 MB... (I never got an initial install, update, or the 11 gig big download) This is for PS3 if it matters.

Got the PSN store to load on my pc and redeemed one of my beta codes. When I log into the PSN store on the PS3, aand go to view downloads (thats where I go to download it right?) it says no content found...as if I've never downloaded anything before on my ps3. ugh
