Second class confirmed for Uprising: Draconic Illusionist!
The Draconic Illusionist is on the right, the one on the left isn't confirmed yet but I'm thinking it's Draconic Ninja. Could also be Draconic Warrior, though.
It's not a bug. While the festival is ongoing, there are no mobs in the castle. After you defeat Radahn, reload the area, talk to J, and then reload the area again, it returns to normal.
I'm very surprised that Steve Jackson's Sorcery! series hasn't been mentioned in this thread. They're game adaptations of choose-your-own-adventure books by the same name. These games play excellently on the phone and are very fulfilling experiences, especially Part 2. You can get them on Steam...
It's inconsistent and I don't really know why. I do know that EVGA and I are both located in the same state so that might have something to do with it.
I don't think the DLC will involve any of the demigods because, well...
I think it's most likely that the DLCs we get will either be related to the outer gods (the Formless Mother seems the most likely), or will take us to regions outside the Lands Between (Numen seems like a particularly...
I don't need a new GPU, so I didn't buy it when it came in stock. At least with this I got ~$100 from the 2020 pricing. It is a bit ridiculous that they would restock the product for anyone before going through the whole queue, though.
I was pretty upset that they took away the ability to sell houses because I quit the game for two years and didn't want to keep my sub just to keep my house, but I couldn't sell it despite owning it since the first time they expanded housing wards.
I think the meta is mostly fine right now, the only hero I can't stand is Prism. As a Kano player, she's gatekeeping the entire meta for me. At the Indianapolis Calling, I played against 1 Viserai, 0 Starvo, and 8 Prism. It was awful.
Massive article dropped earlier this week titled FAB 2.0. It's well worth a read, but here are the highlights:
Unlimited editions are being discontinued after Everfest. Starting with the next booster set (Uprising), there will only be one printing, with additional waves added if there's demand...
Athena dash. Start every run with Athena's charm equipped and grab her dash. It makes the game way easier because the deflect shield persists for a handful of frames after the dash ends. The dash windows will be way more forgiving.
Weird, I find this is her easiest move to dodge. Roll right before she touches the ground, then run away from the ground AoE. Her phantom dancer attack, meanwhile, is something I never learned to dodge. I eventually just summoned two dudes to help me gangbang her because I was sick of it.
They have not talked about groundbreaking features, and I don't think that's really their angle, but they have talked about expanding on features that were maybe underdeveloped back in the day (like factions). They're not necessarily trying to pull in a huge audience, but they believe that there...
You can see the first passes of models in their most recent update on the website. Though not final, this is the direction they're going to go at this time so I would expect the final models to look similar. They've stated that the "old school" look will be coming from low poly and painted...
I think they're not sure if they want to crowdfund. If I remember correctly, they're more leaning towards planning to seek traditional-style funding and are considering selling merch as a way to generate funds from players, but haven't made a final decision yet. (I could definitely be wrong...
I watched the gameplay video and I just don't see any appeal at all. Low fantasy, no subsystems for things like crafting, no information on character classes or ability trees, the dungeon that was in the trailer didn't show up... what is this supposed to be? You just run around as a group of...
The full Everfest card list is now available on FABDB: https://fabdb.net/cards/browse?keywords=&per_page=30&page=1&set=evr&cost=&cardType=&pitch=&class=&rarity=&talent=
The achievements don't even need to be unique, and IMO, the server doesn't even need that much support if they get the scaling done right. As someone who likes to replay EQ2 every now and then just for nostalgia's sake, I could absolutely see myself playing on this server one or two months every...
@Hateyou get him Legends: Arceus, which will be releasing soon. It's more like the games he's already played and should serve as a decent bridge to the rest of the games if he likes it.
I think of this as sort of like a museum server. You get to experience all content at the difficulty it had when it launched. There's a lot of old zones that I haven't gone into in years because they weren't efficient for leveling and didn't have good rewards, so nobody wanted to do them at...
