Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

no doubt. i found myself on (trial 1, trial 2) and the various dungeons, when i see some one low, i throw the regen on them. when it's time to take a gather, or a big hit i know is coming i'll throw heart on some poor dps or healer that's lower HP. they make great smoothing tools. i really want...

yep. i REALLY think they should 'scale up' the amount of starting buttons. like make you start with a level 20 kit then move up from there. it would engage new players a lot more. BUT it's hard to get them to change old content. The XIV launcher plugin called "xiv combo plugin" consolidates...

I'm really enjoying gunbreaker at 90. the heal on heart of corundrum is really nice, second heal and third bullet, and 2 bullet attack. they all combine to make it 'more of the same' but smoothly put together. monk is obnoxious. they need to remove perfect balance as a pre-requisit to filling...

that's why my take on it is that square didn't want to pay the exorbitant costs for better server hardware. they're right that semiconductor shortage made more servers hard or near impossible, but i think money would have worked. they just elected not to. some stooge on the top floor didn't...

ahh yea. so i'd log in at 6am. go to an inn, autorun at the wall and put jump on a timer. i know a number of people who do that. some claim just autorunning works but i'm kind of skeptical.

I presume it has to do with japan/square's baffling obsession with inventing all their tech locally, and it often being horrible. Yoshi P talked about how they experimented with cloud servers and found that for some things, it just wouldn't work. You're right about the queue though, super...

use the steamlink phone app to run steamlinke to your pc. you can connect to start the queue any time you like. if you get in. you can make a massive buton that makes you jump. so sign in , in the inn, hit that button every half hour. all free

yea i kind of hope that when next expansion comes out, the next arc, they have some system in mind for brand new players to experieence JUSTit. I kind of feel like it could take the form of "each big sassy story has it's own character levels". but i know people will pull their hair out at the...

I enjoyed it. a few really interesting reveals i didn't see coming, and some foreshadowing i think i'm starting to catch. if we're on a scale of shadowbringers MSQ, we're still going up the rollercoaster at this point. (i finished the first dungeon and some af ter-talk)

my mix is pixie quests, wonderous tails, fate challenge log and bozja southern front/zadnor. then mix in roulletes that have their bonus to give. failing that...generic shadowbringers quests are 'okay' xp. and i hear heaven on high is good but you'll want to kill yourself after a time.

so i brought 2 80's into shadowbringers. did every MSQ level 80 quest. had the earring in (which just makes combat xp better). did every aether unlock i saw, every hunt mark of that tier. and 3 fates. first job is 81, second job is 700k xp shy of 81. so the xp isn't enough to keep 2 80's up...

it felt like an utter retcon that they used the model for...archaemond? and then made the draenai look like that, after already showing us drenai. why didn't they just call them Archaemans and make a new race instead of shuffling names around then pretending you didn't do it?
