Well, finished the raid with a good group of Brits. However, all I got to show for the raid was a 306 King shell, another 303 Bond, and Smoldering Shards... Of course Oryx ate my 20 Smoldering and gave me... 2 Smoldering Shards and another King Shell in return...

Just got kicked out on Oryx. Got a message saying "friend needs it, thx for your help." Lovely... Pretty much the only one with only 1 death in the whole raid.

I need another normal mode run with hopefully some drops before I even want to try HM.

Will be interesting... Bungie said that HM will basically need a ToM. Problem is, unless there is constant invulnerability phases, I cannot see how ToM will be useful.

I could see Arc being the most usable due to its ability being ranged. Void has the benefits of being able to block arc/solar which is used the most by mobs/bosses in this expansion. Solar does the most damage, but requires you to be up-close-and-personal.

Problem with using arc with Tlaloc and Rainment is you are encouraged to use your Super. Sunsinger spec you are encouraged to retain your super for when deaths occur (basically an oh-shit ability). I personally think stormcaller + rainment + Tlaloc is a mismatched combination as those 2 item's...

Rainment is really only good for Sunsinger in my opinion. I'd choose a Hung Jury over Tlaloc for most things. But Tlaloc should only be used with Sunsinger also as Sunsinger, you will be holding onto your super the majority of the time. Void and Stormcaller you basically pop your super much...
