So, another big budget shit show with terrible staging and backdrops with top notch horrible cgi. I'm out.

The visuals were absolutely amazing but the story was bad. Atleast it wasn't "Dances with Wolves" in space like the first one. Basically the only thing this movie has going for it is the visuals. The modern language took me out of the experience. "Bro" and "that's sic". Fucking dumb.

I know this will probably get some groans but I would love to see the first movie of the D&DU start with Drizzt as a youth in training with Zakk and following through all the way to the Companions of the Hall. I don't know if R. A. Salvatore will ever go for it, though.

The gore in this was top notch. I like how they still had the Evil Dead comedic quips in it but it wasn't front and center. I also liked how they got away from the played out cabin in the woods. Some of the edits/cuts were odd but maybe that was done on purpose.
