    Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered

I remember discovering that with a little bit of magic resist the screen merely darkens from the boots. I felt like i discovered the key to the universe and spent an embarrassingly long time squinting at my dark ass game before realizing i could just increase my magic resist.

Yeah with how many people listen to litrpg I don't know why authors have huge stat pages. I skip every one which is annoying when I'm driving, mowing the lawn etc. I really doubt most readers care about more than a few +gooderer stats. Path of ascension has minimal stat bullshit which is a...

Yeah I'm still in deep. I play optimally and attentively, but am still a super low spender. I'm the 40th strongest is the most powerful alliance (guild) in my state (server). It's a particularly strong alliance, only one alliance in the entire game is both newer and stronger than us, and we are...

I remember in little league as a pitcher being trained to finish every pitch with a stance ready to catch this. It's so infrequent that people at all levels of baseball get lazy.

Every onec in a while I'll check in GW2's profession balance to see if elementalist / weaver is still unpopular (and ostensibly underpowered) to see if I want to play again. I'll also check the forums to see what kind of whining is going on...

    Guild Wars 2

Not sure what you mean by carrot, but as you probably already know GW2's major characteristic is there really is no standard MMO / RPG growth carrot. Once you do the basic leveling, and get post level 80 gear, you're pretty much complete and everything is cosmetic, alts or separate growth paths.

According to the author he just wanted to write a book about a guy who likes to hang out, do alchemy and hunt things. In his own words: So it pretty much hyper focuses on that and doesn't try to be realistic or diverse. If you don't like it after the first book I wouldn't recommend reading...

    Grand Theft Auto VI

I bet Ballad of Gay Tony would've gotten a lot of heat from the Church of Woke if it was released a couple of years ago. 2025 would be a fine year to have an irreverant game about gays though. It is beyond me why game devs started making women look ugly, masculine and I don't know, melted...

re-watching GTA III and GTA VC's trailers and comparing it to GTA VI's trailer I'm reminded why I didn't finish GTA V despite having played like, every GTA game and expansion from III to V. GTA V's main storyline was a lot of uhm, I'm not sure how to put this, massive budget storytelling...

Trailer looks cool. Gratuitous ass shots prove it's not woke. Re: story, the reason I loved VC and SA so much is that the characters had agency and drive. With GTA IV and all the characters in GTA V I felt like they were just reacting to what was going on around them. I never felt like I was...

Hodlers are kind of a self-selecting process. The only early adopting holders are ones who wouldn't sell for $100, $1,000, $10,000, so why would they ever sell? I've been saying for years I'll sell when my 1 BTC hits $1 or $1million. It stopped being a joke a while ago.

    Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered

Mmm... I'd say literally every single player RPG is a game you should adventure and explore in for maximum enjoyment. It's easier when the world is as rich as Morrowind and the quest system requires you to understand the lore to figure out where the hell to go. We just mostly play games wrong...

Agreed with this. Oblivion was a more dumbed down Morrowind with quest markers, easier fast travel and less ridiculous combat system. Skyrim didn't really dumb things down further.

    Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered

Back in the day I used a mod that made the hardest mode basically 10x all damage without increasing mob HP. It made it so enemies could one shot you, and if you tried hard, you could 3ish shot them. It was a lot of fun since damage is largely avoidable if you have a lot of speed.
