Think those time are accurate 5 days a week is hardcore. 20 hours plus a week is hardcore to me, 12 to 19 is semi hardcore and under 12 is casual. You can get alot done in 12 hours of wildstar raiding.
Raiding 3 nights a week and progressing isnt that hard in this game, sure you wont be elite and in Datascape but you can still progress. Never understood the mentality to raid 5 days or more in any mmo, even in wow only did 4 max.
This game is casual friendly, its just not bad player friendly.
Jboots gave runspeed, pegasus cloak gave levitation and you could click these from your inventory at any level. Even if they give blues off rares in wildstar no one is going back to get them because they are blue at level 50.
I think the biggest thing the Wildstar Devs forgot was to make the game world fun. EverQuest did this through rares(pegasus cloak, jboots etc..) and the need to group to farm items that didn't always drop(fungi tunic, every major class epic). TBC did it because well it was new and the raids were...
I clamored for them to not split the population, but the carbine response was because "lore". They should go the Rift route for transfers and for pvp via mercenaries( temporary fight for the other side) and no faction splits on pve servers.
The biggest issue with this game is that Jeremy Gaffney did not listen.

"Several factors apply:
1) The 1% are pretty vocal. If they report back to the 99% that the elder game sucks, guess what? Lots of people leave - why bother levelling up if no love...
I think the game just needs another trigger if a certain outcome like Felwithe being in ruins happens then said adventures will build in a different area away from the dark elves. Kind of how npcs decide to not zerg a neighboring town because of their AI.
They just announced some changes on nexus report, including removing silver dungeons for attunement and swapping them to bronze medal. This should help the game out a lot in the long run.
If im going to grind I would just prefer if where I was grinding had named that spawn(eq orc camps or something like that) and or quests that just popped up while you were killing. NO more GD quest hubs, please.
I wanted to like this game, I just really dont like the look or feel of it. Combat feels slow to me after playing Wildstar, and the quest hubs of the early levels are bleh. To each their own, good luck to you if you enjoy this.
You just sell all your credd for plat and then buy more credd when you return, sure it costs ya 15 bucks but hey its probably worth it if you are coming back anyways.
Yeah I knew what I was getting into, Like I said I enjoy raiding and have yet to spend more than the box price on this game. Credd really makes this game easy to play.
Its more the rep grind from vendors and shit like that, basically other than running the same old instances over and over its the most effecient way to get your EG.
And of course I am 50, I enjoy the combat, the raiding and the pvp(well when they fix it). I have hated the quest leveling...
The game at 50 becomes everything that sucks about wow, daily rep grind and elder gem(valor) farm. I will say this about most themepark mmos, you need to make logging in and playing your game fun. Repeating the same dailies every day is not fun.
Give me a game with open dungeons, and items...

I loved this game growing up and am glad to see it being remade. Early september only 19.99 us on steam and amazon. Anyone have any other info on this game?
I am not sure I will ever sub to this game officially, I have been buying credd and am about to purchase my 4th month. I think there are already people with 12 months purchased.
