That article implies people thought that picture was real. I don't believe anyone thought that was real.

To be fair, it's not just Crowd strikes fault. Our IT tests every patch before deploying it to make sure it doesn't break stuff. You would think some of these huge corporate machines would test patches before deployment.

I used to work for a sales office selling to mechanical contractors and plumbing contractors in NYC. We would spend all day with engineers on the phone designing stuff. I would then spend the all night on the phone with the contractor PM telling him how to install it. I would go walk the job...
