Nope, here's where I'll be honest: I didn't play Monday: I took some reports from a different forum as being true when maybe they weren't. Sucks, cause I thought they got a handle on the load times.

Fair enough, was just trying to explain my earlier post. I think it's still safe to say that if this is a rewritten HE, they've done an amazing job. I'm no graphics expert, but I can appreciate good textures, lighting, etc. Having smooth framerates with 100s of players in a battle is nice, too.

I didn't experience problems with combat responsiveness, other than what I took to be lag during a stress test.

I was talking engine problems, boys. Yes, there are many other bugs. Utnayan, why not address the fact that you've been lying for months about being in closed beta?

Huh? Have you not even played the weekend beta? It's like you describe a fantasy. The only problems this weekend were stress test induced load times and occasional lag that was mostly cleared up by Monday as they throttled things back. The graphics engine was beautiful with complex lighting...

The main story line certainly has a order you need to go in. Each zone is based on a level, so you need to stick around level appropriate areas. Other than that, you can pretty much do what you want in any order you want, and the areas get bigger and bigger. A lot of the stuff to do is...
