War of the Spark Mythic Edition goes on sale in about 40 minutes. Going to try to snag a box, although I'm not confident I can purchase it successfully.
Search for Azcanta, Wilderness Reclamation, Nexus of Fate. Pick one, but one of them has to go, this deck is reaching pure cancer levels now with Tamiyo added.
In case anyone was curious
Missing Gideon, Lili, Sorin. Got Ajani, 2x The Wanderer, Narset, Saheeli, Jang Yangyu, Ashiok, Jaya and Nahiri in foil alternate art
Sooooo tired of quasi-random land in MTG:Arena. It's gotten to the point where it is absolutely useless for decktesting.
I do not believe that people can hit land drops every turn until 6 in Spark draft. I do not believe that I can draw 10 lands and 4 spells for my first 14 cards. I do not...
@a_skeleton_02 the list of stuff I need is shrinking fast
炎鎖のアングラス/Angrath, the Flame-Chained x 1
再燃するフェニックス/Rekindling Phoenix x 4
グルールの呪文砕き/Gruul Spellbreaker x 1
成長室の守護者/Growth-Chamber Guardian x 2
正義の模範、オレリア/Aurelia, Exemplar of Justice x 2
繁殖池/Breeding Pool x 2
神無き祭殿/Godless Shrine x 3...
They absolutely do, the matches when I'm playing Rakdos Aggro vs the matches when I'm playing Drakes are completely opposite.
I'm also convinced they are fiddling with the land ratios in Traditional draft War of the Spark. I have never seen so many games where both players get to 6 mana by turn...
Japan has many, many places that do not accept cards, it's a pretty cash based society
The fee for internationally taking money out at a Japanese Post-bank ATM is $2 + whatever your bank at home charges.
I'm liking the look of Izzet Drakes with Saheli, Augur of Bolas and Thud.
The other deck I like is Dreadhorde Butcher/Arcanist with pump spells and thud.
Basically I just like Thud.
Probably going to play something like this in the first few weeks. Undecided on the fanatics, or Gutterbones.
I'm also looking at something like this
I already have most of the cards for both, should be fun.
Open to input on both!
It's hard to shark people here. I've only found one store where trading is allowed - most magic players here don't buy packs, they only buy singles, so they are pretty clued in to prices and they usually check their favorite card store for the price before executing any trades. That being said...
I don't expect any of the modern staples other than Arclight Phoenix to go down just because the GP is over. Modern is still played here like crazy - the cards will retain full value or even go up.
I just expect Arclight to down because I think it has been artificially kept high even through...
Not sure where the asian part comes in in relation to future value but I buy and play with japanese cards because it's easier for my opponents in Japan
I think $3 for the quantity of cards I received is very reasonable
Not technically accurate I have lived in Japan for 8 years but I am Australian
sorry @a_skeleton_02 my arclight into the store for $27 credit since the price is still high here due to the Modern GP this weekend. I expect the price to drop like a stone after today.
I also bought an arcane tempo deck for $30, traded in the Phoenix for $27 and kept the rest. Seemed like a...
I checked out how the rice works today.
Edit: I have no idea why the picture rotated, it's not rotated in the discord link -_-

If you have the chance to go to GoGo curry you totally should. That plate costs like $8. They even have a @McCheese size challenge.
Doesn't look like much more, but my example only has 500g of rice, that second picture has 2kg+
Been eating this 3-4 times a week since I started up Magic the Gathering again, since the shop is right downstairs from the card store.
Haven't put on any weight. Yet.
This treasure shit is absolutely cancerous and I want no part of it.
Why on earth didn't they give the person going 2nd 2 treasures on their first turn? This is basically another "who goes first wins"
