I’m about 8 hours in, still in Norway with still a lot to explore.
I‘m not advancing very fast in the main quests because there’s so many glowy thingy everywhere on the map and I just have to check all of them, I can’t help myself.
I miss the Leap of Faith, but google it and it seems you learn...
Patch Notes 1.14
Lots of changes, 7 champions affected.
Lucian: Can now trigger the same round as leveling up.
Shyvana: 1 Power Increase.
Vladimir: Attack: For each attacking ally on my right, deal 1 to it and 1 to the enemy Nexus. Only needs to had 5+ allies take damage and survive instead...
I haven't played Valhalla enough to judge the new system, but I doubt it will bother me much. In Odyssey, once I obtained the poison armor set and weapons, I used that almost exclusively for the rest of the game.
I'm guessing it will be similar in this one, once I have a set I like I'll keep it...
I played 2 hours before work on PS4 Pro with no issue.
It's not enough for me to pass judgement on new loot system, or skill system.
That said it's an AC game so I'm totally biased and enjoying myself already. : )
Well I stand at 156 at the midway point, I may actually have time to complete this event.
I had the quest to target 75 allies so I played Lee Sin deck which was perfect for this, damn the deck is consistent it’s ridiculous. It’s fun to play but not fun to play against.
I love these events...
It definitely looks like the Xbox Series X is the best system to buy if you don’t care about exclusive. It has better hardware, better backward compatibility and Gamepass.
Sony is basically riding on exclusive titles.
This was a pretty weak episode all around even by monster of the week standard. I was disappointed.
The show is always best when there’s a good companion to support Mando like with Cobb Vanth in the first episodes or with Cara Dune with whom he has interesting dialogs and interactions.
There’s...
Kotaku reviewer said it took him under 20 hours to 100% Spider-Man:Miles Morales, and he thinks the main story could have been done in 10-12 hours. Not really great for $50, but not awful either...I mean there’s a few games at full price that barely have that.
That said, as much as I enjoyed...
I saw in a video that was showing setting that haptic feedback and adaptive trigger each have setting of Strong, Weak, None...with Strong being the default option.
People are raving about it in Astro, but don't seem impressed in Spider-Man.
I think it might be fun in some games, like I said...
Finished it tonight and enjoyed it quite a lot.
It‘s cliché at times, but it’s really well done. Well written, well directed, well acted, interesting characters and subject matter. I love the period, and set designs were really nice.
I totally agree, I find that she’s generally beautiful but there’s something strange about her I just can’t quite put my finger on that bothers me. I think it’s about the angles that you view her from.
That doesn’t change 1 thing though and that is that she gives an excellent performance in this.
BestBuy billed my credit card for the PS5, it’s a bit early for something that won’t ship for a week. I guess it means I’m getting one to go with my DualSense and chargers they already sent me.
I keep seeing how amazing the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback are and I'm come to the conclusion that Death Stranding needs a PS5 update if only to make use of the DualSense. It sounds like this would be the perfect game for it.
The event has some pretty challenging quests. I’ve been doing a bunch of them against the AI because otherwise I doubt I could do them playing somewhat casually.
Like cast 50 spells that cost 5 mana or more, or win games after 10 rounds, play cards whose cost has been reduced(Heimerdinger for...

So I got home and unboxed my DualSense controller.
It is noticeably heavier than the DualShock.
It’s also somewhat bigger in almost every way, like width, height and thickness it’s not by much when you actually put them side by side but it’s noticeable when you hold it.
Overall it feels...
The Dragonlance Chronicles were the first Fantasy novels I ever read. It was the first time that I actually attempted to read a novel in English which opened up a whole new world to me.
So I am grateful to Hickman and Weiss for introducing me to Fantasy which some 30+ years later is still a...
Well these got here at work, now Best Buy better not fuck me up on my PS5 pre-order because I don’t want to have these for 6 months before I get one. :)
I hadn‘t played in almost 2 weeks, got tired of Lee Sin and aggro...but also knew event was coming and that I would be playing a lot more for the duration so took a little break to not burn out. Felt good, always like taking a break once in while. Feels refreshed when I come back and game is...
At this point if reviews confirm AMD's numbers, this is great for the industry.
It seems that AMD is releasing cards to compete almost perfectly with the 3070, 3080 and 3090 at similar price point. More memory on the 6800 and 6800XT with 16GB compared to 8GB and 10GB form 3070 and 3080...
I've been surprised by that also, not sure if it's due to embargo being so restrictive that they are trying hard to find something to talk about. On the other hand as you mentioned, it's almost every everyone.
Not sure how much it will matter to me.
When I was a kid, I used to throw my Atari 2600 controller when things didn't go my way, to my defense though, I had put a cushion to throw the controller at so it wouldn't break. I was immature but not entirely stupid. :)
Patch Notes 1.13
Lee Sin: Mana 4 to 5 and Health 4 to 5. So a nerf, his Heath is mostly irrelevant him coming one turn later should be substantial.
Make it rain: Mana from 2 to 3. Welcome change, going to hurt the card a lot I think but still playable.
That is it, bigger balance patch in 2 weeks.
This is 2020 dude, you forgot to mention that Xeno’Jiva was awoken by a white man doing something dumb. And that the force taking the monsters out would be lead by a black woman, a gay asian guy, and a transgendered woman. Get with the times. ;)
That seemed to be a foregone conclusion after the teardown video showed how easy it was to remove the case. Nice to have to option for those that want a different color.
The thing that's kind of ironic is the less there is of the Animus story line, the more annoying it becomes because it's so irrelevant now. You get pulled out of the game for essentially very little pay off.
Post launch content & Season Pass.
It looks to be similar to what they did with Odyssey, I’m fine with it since I enjoyed Odyssey and the extra content.
