Shoved my old system into a Torrent Compact to send to best friend - 12900k and 3090Ti, i couldnt stomach selling it for less than 50% of its original cost so it was better to give it away. Still havent used my 4090, will give this rig to gf when the X3D comes out next year and i go full AMD.

Has 13900k and 4090 and plays no games.... but when i see a game to play i'll be so prepared..

Enjoyed 7 and 8 - didnt care for 9 but liked 10. 12 was never finished and 13 i blocked from memory. 15 i enjoyed as it being a huge change in how they did the series but it had alot of fails as well. Not sure how i feel about 16 since it seems youre just controlling 1 character the entire game.

EVGA psu has a special cord for 12 pin you can get for $30 so I use a 1000wt evga for that reason.

I am only interested in the FE or a pre-blocked gpu. Bestbuy was kind of a dumpster fire on release so didn’t grab anything. Motherboards are extremely pricey right now as well so I’m not included yet to move from my z690 Xtreme to anything else. I wanted all AMD but all the boards are over...

So in my previous setup i had the 5950x and 6900XT LDU together - The gpu rarely hit 55c and the cpu i honestly cant remember. Now the water Ambient temp i kept on F and never got over 99F. My basement ambient temps are always sub 70 degrees so overall cooling is always easy. My gripe is on...

Im awaiting AMD - i wanted Nvidia but all the cards outside of FE and Zotac look like shoeboxes. AMD may not be much better but im sure it will be cheaper and at least enough of an upgrade to run my games at 4k120. Plus i want the liquid devil ultimate if they do it again.

I dont think AMD will have an uplift like Nvidia but even 40% will be more than enough for 95% of what i play to always max out 4k138hz

Yeah i see them on ebay - no biggie my 3090Ti will hold up till gpu comes in stock, maybe AMD will put out a banger -it helps i have no games to play anyways.
