All melee classes in this game suffer from lack of skills to use, its literal auto attack and sit back. Other than the hybrids, but even then its not like they have a vast spell repertoire to weave.

The worst part about my experience in this game is trying to find your class dude to train spells from in a city, no matter what city it is, its like a fucking maze and you get lost on they way there a few times and then get lost a few more times trying to get back to the zone you were leveling...

Classic itself revitalized this game, along with the 2 expansions along the way for classic. Live was stale already for a long ass time. I tried playing it along the way a few times, but it never stuck for more than a week or two.

They also need to do like POE, where all of your hard work just does not get deleted, but dumped off to some other server. Imagine spending a week play time or more and get deleted. Fuck that noise.
