For someone that's never played minecraft, how easy is it to get started in Landmark?

I think the item argument is still a valid one. The talents I looked at all seemed to be on the same template. Minus your choices for heroics, you get 1-3 somewhat (ie not completely) unique choices then the rest are carbon copies. Is it really progression when everyone progresses the same way...

I got three characters to 50 and would have to say Agent/Warrior were much better thsn Sorc. I also don't remember needing more than 1 full bar and a few slots of a second unless I was being lazy with my agent and used two full bars.

I also cheer for being able to jump straight to the M39. My only gripe is they should make the shortcut open to everyone. Locked weapons makes no sense to me at all. Attachments/mods I understand, but not weapons. Especially when some of the starter weapons are just pure shit.

I'm not sure how I feel about combat at the moment. I think its going to be quite a let down to craft a living world and fine tune realistic details and then be fine getting away with someone stabbing you in the gut repeatedly whilst in padded armor.

I saw it with one of my exes who was a Lego freak growing up. We had the theater to ourselves and enjoyed it immensely. We both played with Legos growing up though, so YMMV.

I enjoy locker and metro for what they are. Zavod is still my favorite map by far, but Locker is great for ranking my lmgs on flank runs and metro for DMRs (which feels like the aforementioned needle in eye -- seriously, what does DICE have against DMRs to make them so bad). Smoke works...

I didn't think the no rez thing in the water was a bug. The invulnerable glass definitely bugs the piss out of me. So many lvg spammers would die on that back corner if you could shoot through the glass.

Downtime spent learning the new devkits = time wasted on expanding the scope and depth of the game. It also means inherent compromises in design methodology.
