I've been using MCProHosting it's $10 a month for 1gb RAM and approx 23 players. Plenty to support a server like the one I've been running for the boards. their customer service is good, and their uptime is excellent - in case anyone was interested in hosting one of their own.

Since nobody seems to have logged any substantial time since January, I'm going to suspend payment on the Minecraft server. I'll save the worlds we've made, and I'll be happy to send them out should someone else wish to run a server for the board.

yes DR is skill based everyone can train every skill, with a few exceptions for guild-specific skills like empathy (for empaths only) and stuff like that. each guild has primary skills, secondary skills, and tertiary skills - with each subsequent set of skills being harder to train so...

all that requested whitelist have been authorized. it seems that the server might have hiccuped a couple times today, let's hope it's due to the hardware upgrade. I've got a service ticket in to figure out why there's a delay with the whitelisting and to diagnose the server stability...

server is up but the host seems to be upgrading hardware and control module, so web control module is down.. i'll add anyone that requested whitelist as soon as it's back up and i'm online. happy new year!

vanilla survival... /home kinda defeats the purpose.. makes for no risk farming same could be said for /back if the majority of the server wants it, I'll consider it... but neither are what I had in mind for vanilla SMP

all PM'd requests for whitelist have been approved and IPs sent out. not sure what happened with server, contacting the host to see what was going on. apparently it went down for a couple of hours while i was out.... should be good now
