I can agree with that. Anything can be fun as long as it's done in the appropriate context. This one is not.

I tried to do the questing thing, but I gave up around level 48. Now sitting in Org chaining dungeons. Cata rework was pretty meh. Quests are stupid. Too many cut scenes. Too spread out. Mob density is low. Respaawn is slow.

The game would probably be kind of fun/playable if you rip out all of the classes and combat mechanics.

It'll be about 8-10 months before your kid has enough precision to press down a single key. It'll vary, but at 9ish month my daughter could put those juice box straws through a hole. It'll be a while until they have the strength to actually push down the key.

You'd be surprised how many MMO devs are like that. The majority of them really don't know anything about their game outside a superficial level.

It's all in the combat system. If you can create a system of move/counter move that can prolong a fight due to player skill, then a longer fight is great. If it's a fight because everyone has 10000 hps and it's a battle of attrition then no.
