    Hearthstone

I built a priest deck with a similar spin. Drawing Smite and Shadow Word: Pain are pretty key to not dying in the early game. Also, getting a Holy Nova against a Paladin is pretty necessary. But Crazed Alchemist with Shadow Madness is probably my most favorite combo. Shadow Madness a Sen'jin...

    Hearthstone

Loving Crazed Alchemist at the moment. Coupled with Frothing Berserker, you can get a crap ton of value. Had the Berserker to an 8/3, switched attack/hp and kept clearing minions. Another neat trick with the Crazed Alchemist is to use it with Shadow Madness. Grab a low attack, high hp minion...

I kinda think that nerfing the Warsong Commander to minions with 3 attack or less is a little too harsh. I think 4 attack would be a better number so that you can play it late game with things like Chillwind Yeti, Cairne, etc.

Awesome Games Done Quick 2014: Speedrunning For Charity - January 5th-11th

For Cosmo specifically, speed running isn't just a hobby, but his job (Making money as a Zelda speed runner). So I can kind of understand being miffed if someone distracted me from a WR pace -- even if it was at a charity event.

Awesome Games Done Quick 2014: Speedrunning For Charity - January 5th-11th

I stopped watching and went to bed around when he fought Masamune. I find the RPG speedruns to be just as good as the shorter action games like Super Metroid or Contra. There's a lot of glitches that they do to bypass things and then they have to compensate being under-leveled / under-geared...

Awesome Games Done Quick 2014: Speedrunning For Charity - January 5th-11th

Wind Waker HD looked really good though. Kinda makes me want to get a WiiU. I like that they're just doing a New Game + run for Chrono Trigger first. Ending a 4.5 hr run and going into a 6 hr run right after would've been too much. Throwing in a 7min run helps break it up. edit: How does...

    Coffee thread

@lanx - A little rambly, but a good post overall. I used to have a $600 pump espresso machine, but the results were too inconsistent for me, so I sold it and switched to Nespresso. If I ever get another home espresso machine, it'll have a double boiler. I also used to hand pour coffee for...

More Steam Machine stuff Steam Machines are here: how Alienware is realizing Valve's console dream | The Verge I personally like the idea of a Steam Machine. Keyboard and mouse in the living room feels too clunky, so I'm optimistic about that controller.

Those buff changes people are proposing because of Blood Imp just makes the game counterintuitive. If there's a 3/3 on board, you need to do 3 damage to kill it. End of story. Killing the Blood Imp buffing it with Consecrate/Holy Nova/Blizzard shouldn't also kill your 3/3. Just make Blood Imp...

    Hearthstone

At least you know for next time, buffs that raise max hp also heal that minion for that much hp. To give another example, say you have a 3/2 out and it takes one damage becoming a 3/1 and then you drop a Blood Imp, making is a 3/2 again (but its max hp is 3). If that Blood Imp dies, then your...

I personally love the cheese. I grinned the first time I dropped a post-patch Dragonling Mechanic. Also, dropping legendaries and having them taunt your opponent is the best (ex. Cairne tells Garrosh that he's not fit to fit to rule the horde and Illidan says "hello, brother..." to Malfurion)

    Hearthstone

First thing to do for any new player is to get all classes to 10 and beat all the expert AI. That'll get you a little bit of gold that you can use to start arena runs. From there you can jump right into arenas for free cards / learning how to play. You'll likely get crushed at first, but if...
