Oh for sure, there are quite a few ways to fund venture tokens. Hunt trains take a bit of outside game knowledge/tools- but it's definitely an option.

I basically generate all my venture tokens from GC turnins. Run dungeons -> turnin blue and green loot that doesn't look cool. Buy ventures -> send butlers to get more green and blue loot. Keep the shit that looks rad or sells well.

yeah everytime you unlock a new job, create a new equipment set. You can hotkey the set list or just make a icon cluster to swap jobs. Then it's just a matter of swapping to new job, equipping and saving.

GC crafting turnins are a stupid amount of tradeskill xp. You'll have to do some shit to unlock those, but i now have an irrational thing against leves.

Tradeskills are kinda an interlinked nightmare by design. They give you more or less the same toolset for all the classes and you have to optimize your resources as best you can to make whatever item. If you want to dip your toes in, pick whatever matches up to create, well honestly...

I don't have the handy pictures up, but once you hit the auto suggest or manually have the newest gear equipped, just save the set again. This also affects whether you want your headgear shown, visor up/down etc.

For all the noobs wondering about leveling multiple jobs/roles. There is one outlier that may or may not interest you. If you go arcanist- you get to level 2 jobs at the same time. Scholar is a (shield based) healer, and Summoner is a pet/dot DPS class. You'll have to do 2 sets of job...

I'd do 2 different roles personally, just so you don't have to deal with the dps queue all the time. But you'll need to put up with it eventually. Unless you go pure tank/heals. Then yer basically blessed with insta pops most of the time.

If you poop sock hard you can pretty much catch up to current in about a month give or take. But DO NOT do that. This really is not that type of game. There is metric fuck ton of side content to do, but if you rush it all and hammer skip on all the story, you're bound to be disappointed...

POTD gives reasonable exp just grinding your way up (down?) the dungeon. Once you finish the 40-50 floor it gives you the option to start at 51, so people just do 51-60 and then reset the save over and over. That set of floors is very fast and easy, gives good exp, and is pretty wipe proof...
