Quick update about the changes to the AR's. They perform much better. You can actually hit your target now. Good improvement. Now, they just need to give us the traditional legacy (as they put it) Battlefield things we've come to expect.

It's totally obvious to me that Assault Rifles are complete trash right now. If you're a 'run & gun' player like me, you should be using SMG's (PP-29 is the best gun at short/med even semi-long range). Do yourself a favor if you haven't bought this game yet. Don't do it. (Not yet anyway)...

I now have 64 hours played in this shit pile of a game. It's not Battlefield. It's some weird bullshit Action FPS, with RNG determining your hits. I swear to god, I feel like there's a cooldown on getting kills in this game. (Yeah I know, git gud scrub)

Is it me or is this going to go down just as bad a launch as pretty much any game has had in the past 10 years? I don't recall a game releasing which had this many bugs/glitches/sploitz as New World. Maybe FO76?

At this point, I would expect pretty much anything from the game. I've been completely disheartened with this game due to the number of things outside of my control that have negatively impacted my experience up to now. If after the next bug fix "patch", they haven't fixed (or even addressed)...

This is absolutely ridiculous at this point in the games life. Going on record by saying this game is going to be near death by Xmas (if not sooner). Subsequently it will take another year before these game breaking bugs are fixed properly.

There's at least 3 quests I have right now in Reekwater that should be solo-able, but they're all glitched like this. I do recall another quest that had a similar trigger/inspect function in Ebonscale Reach that did the same thing.

This seems to be a recurring problem with a lot of quests that ask you to inspect an object or place an object that triggers a mob that spawns. You end up getting dozens of mobs on top of each other, making it impossibly difficult to solo. (Also, I know there are tank/focus specs out there...

Ebonscale Reach is a very nice zone. Not too much verticality like Edengrove (that zone can fuck right off). I dig the Asian vibe to the zone too.

I don't read those forums, but I expected as much. Personally I don't think it's an "exploit" per se; it's more about their dumb respawn rates and playing the game as is. If they ban a person for playing the game at a spot in the world with a high respawn rate, then they're risking a PR...

If you'd like to PL your weapon skills go to this location in Restless Shore. Boars are plentiful and respawn even quicker than most mobs. There's usually a ton of people there too to make it easier.
