To be honest, I feel Canucks played Oilers better than the Stars.
I think the overall effective strategy against the Oilers is to forecheck hard (exploit Nurse and the rest of their bottom 4) and take away any time and space their fowards have.
Panthers are deeper than the Canucks and are...

9.5 Mill for Nurse and they need to re-sign Bouchard soon.
Vancouver did the right thing buying out OEL - now he's one win away from the Cup! Go Panthers!
I think it was mentioned here(?) that one of the producers told us to remember details of the myths of the realm raids and the names of the 14 members of the convocation as really important MSQ points in Dawntrail.
I despise how the Oilers have been built overall. They lucked out with their current shitty team build by getting McJesus and Draisaitl after years of squandering their #1 picks . I actually feel sorry for those two having a crap team surround them (except for Bouchard and Ekholm).
A team...
I don't even know how Holland thought it was a great move to sign Nurse to his current contract? Was it out of desperation to sign any right shot D so they won't leave the shit town that is Edmonton?
You would think eh?
Carson Soucy gets suspended cross checking McDavid in the face (McDavid ends up being okay). Draisaitl - a huge star for the NHL with a flying elbow to Barkov's face (which injures him for that game)? Of course the NHL is going to automatically let that go.
It's okay. First two episodes are obviously building up to... something.
I'm not sure how this series will end. If it ends as your typical "kill evil mastermind, save the day!" trope - it's going to be really disappointing.
I can't believe Trouba - who is either a dirty or borderline dirty player and throws all these hits to the head posts this.
And he's the captain for the Rangers? wtf!
So... I'm surprised this thread hasn't disintegrated to shit bashing the game (like waiting on the Star Wars/MCU threads!).
I'm guessing D4 is worth trying out again?
That is so stupid, did they not think they wouldn't need the extra 8 mil in LTIR money? I mean that's one of the Golden Knights mission statements - exploit LTIR!
Or did they really want to chase after the really important President's trophy?! lol
I thought DRK would be my main, but I ran into the same problem as you.
I think it's just a natural state of playing an MMO like ff14 with this kind of job system.

Someone linked this old article on Twitter. Perfectly sums up why I'll never support any other Canadian team to win the Cup. Those other teams can go fuck themselves - go...
To the Oilers credit their PK has been awesome in this year's playoffs. They also stymied the Canucks in round 2.
Their overall special teams have been their game changers.
I'll never cheer for any other Canadian team to win the cup. I don't know why it is, by I guess the tribal hockey nature in Canada ensures we'll always hate each other's team!
Oilers have shitty goal tending and terrible D past Bouchard and Ekholm. Everyone thought Oilers would steamroll Canucks - that didn't happen.
We lost due to our shitty PP, not enough offense at 5v5, suddenly losing one of our Top scorers for Game 7 (including questional line juggling for said...
I haven't been sleeping well after watching every single Canucks playoff game this year. Winning by late comebacks so frequently is fucking nerve wracking!
So was Hyman's crosscheck to Zadorov's face (that actually drew blood) - but hey NHL player safety and reffing is a goddamn joke compared to the other major league sports.
Phone hearing (more than likely just a game suspension) for Soucy, Zadorov with a 5k fine (lol). Odd Bennett can punch out Marchand and get no hearing - yet when it comes to McJesus the league comes to his rescue.
Sigh - playoff hockey.

Quinn Hughes breaking ankles to setup the sequence for the tying goal. If he doesn't win the Norris, it'll be a travesty.
