Pathfinder was good, but one thing this game has, among others, thats like miles above, is the writing. Its like kids wrote pathfinder.

Not really my experience. AI tries to avoid aoe shit like that. they will either try to dash out of it or move around it just like you would. even shit like cleric spirit guardians, they will try to just get out of range of it. every time.

So I think I fixed my crash problem, too soon to tell yet but I turned off vsync completely and have not had one yet. Some dude put out a video saying it fixed his shit so I tried it. Played for like 3-4 hours with no crash. Here is to hoping!

Kingmaker had mods to fix that, so all hirelings had the same shit as base characters and made them be trivially cheap to get. That game IMO was all about trying new builds and fucking with characters so that mod was a must. So there was at least that.
