I think the base of island gameplay is probably fine. They may need to change/upgrade rewards but it is something they could tweak later for even more interesting stuff. With the tech there improving it and adding on over time should be pretty doable.

Yup pretty much this need to spread your island stuff out over the week but a couple at a time they are pretty fun. Did a couple heroic ones where sneaky pete was being super aggressive and it was pretty much a running battle with hordes of critters for a good 10 minutes.

I have heard some complaints. I think overall they are pretty amusing but there needs to also especially in the normal version at least some generic item drops as well simply because doing them while still working on your ilevel really slows down your equipment progress currently.

Seems like they are going with this is the same scaling that has been going on since argus. The problem being we did not hit argus scaling with leveling non max level gear. One nice thing they said is they are making azerite armor tradeable which is nice.

standard leveling problems right now its pretty much ilevel > everything to shoehorn myself to the higher content so I can get some more consistent gear and get shit sorted out for stats I want. But we have a few weeks to go before shit opens up so not to big of a problem.

Honestly I fully expect at some point they will let you queue like normal it is just really freaking weird it is the only thing you have to go to the table specifcally to queue for. Just kinda weird.

For now that is what makes it tolerable but it also locks you in to doing just that. Its not like I am out questing and would like a break so just queue up and when it pops go do that. To do islands you have to basically JUST do islands. And eventually those queues will not be instant any more...

I am just trying to make sure I keep up on the emmisary stuff and use the app to go after any rep mission on the board but I still have so much other stuff to do I am not really just grinding WQ for rep at this time. Mostly going after ones that have a major gear upgrade available.

I believe we will see the same kinds of catchup AP mechanics we did in legion. Either they tweak the amount needed per level or we get billions and billions per stone at some point.

I think for now they seem worth doing for the weekly quest as its a pretty big slab of azurite + rep with 7th legion but I am not going to be grinding these things. I am kinda bewildered why they don't let you queue for these from the group finder and force you to use the table.

I agree even the basic level up gear and greens look really good. Good attention to detail on even the base gear is really nice. Sometimes its fun to have fucking volcanos on your shoulders but sometimes having a set of gear that looks good and like a normal person would wear is fun too.

Well that and with the prior way of doing teleporters you aimed them where you wanted the outlet and the other side was always in your base. So I kept aiming like I used to and it would just shit out two I could not tell if it was bugged or what was going on.

Yup that is correct you need to at least go to the quest giver and say I already road this pony skip it and then you get the quest complete and get the stuff to go pick up the heart.

Yup I believe it will just auto appear for everybody who has done the battle of lorderon stuff already otherwise you have to run through there to get the summons.

I have not tried them all but my half ass geared outlaw appears to be my highest DPS class that I tested this weekend. I am not playing it great and his gear is all over the place but apparently that shit is magic and the DPS is real gud.
