Tom Ross cut his Mono R list down to 17 mountains and no 3 CMC spells. Have fun with that UB control.

It's straight value, fits perfectly into Abzan lists. My Rhino fights your guy + sac your Courser or Outpost Siege. Sounds awesome.

I think Abzan is a good pick for this first week as you are playing a deck full of known, strong spells. Post your list if you get some time, I need something for FNM this week.

Agree 100%. Doa + Monte are my fave duo by far. And they cast the best league on top of it. After that I'd go with Deficio.

Pretty sure vision war in competitive play is different than the solo queue strategies. It looks like pro's have decided on x2 Sightstone x1 Farsight Orb and a bunch of Sweeping Lens.

I'm with Ronne, if they pick Bard, you grab Annie or Leona and piledrive that poor adc while Bard is on walkabout.

I know I am bad so I hold the "Don't Die" motto above all others. I just played Corki with Bard as my support. Was lonely in that lane.

    League Of Legends

Would you say Corki is new player friendly? He has a dash so you have a chance to escape and his ult is just a long range poke spell. He does build a bit different from most ADCs.

When Kalista ult's, the partner turns into a projectile (basically) that fires to a point and stuns the area. In solo queue if you get a Thresh or Annie its awesome cause they can follow up your ult with their own cc. If you get a Sona, yeah, it's mostly for getting them out of trouble.

Are you saying that from a speculation perspective? Before Khans all the hype was for Knuckleblade and the format definer turned out to be Siege Rhino. I've learned to not write off anything until some of the brewer's get to work.

I'm no Modern expert but does she do enough to win you the game at 4 mana? The only other spells at that CMC in Modern are Splinter Twin (wins you the game) and Cryptic Command (lets you cast Splinter Twin). The cards have so much raw power in Modern she just looks outclassed. I think in...

You really aren't forced to play anything in the current standard. There is literally a playable deck from all in aggro to 1 win condition control. There's also enough interesting cards for new brews to come up all the time. You think this is great removal? You would have lost your mind in the...

I played a bunch of RW vs my brother on Fabiano's Sultai Control this past week. I think that matchup is definitely Sultai favored. Sideboard they can play crazy mindgames with you over Chained to the Rocks vs Tasigur, it's a real hassle.

I look at it as a design issue in HS. You can't really afford situational effects in a game based soley around minions. All the playable cards of that type are an effect + body: Big Game Hunter, Mind Control Tech, The Black Knight, Antique Healbot. Druid's get away with Savage Roar because its...

Is this Nestico's list? Looks similar. I think going into Soulfire Grand Master weakens you. The card is slow and outclassed as a body. I'm trying to decide if I go back to Abzan where I had a lot of success or stick with this Temur Aggro by Jacob Eckert: It has a lot of gas versus the...

I think Whisperwood is real. In Mono-G Devotion he's another nice card with GG in the cost. Adds Ugin-immune bodies and can turn your army of mana dorks into something after a sweeper hits. Also, I tried the Temur Sabretooth and he was giving some nice value bouncing Reclamation Sage vs...
