Game is dope, but as limited time to be leveling multiple toons, going to wait until Blader is released before buying. Tamer is alot of fun to play, more so than Ranger since it makes everything easy.

Tamer seems fun, the Ranger was just way too easy to play, literally everything melting and not able to touch you due to snare.

What other classes are easy to kite tons with besides ranger? Dont really feel like being pure caster - How does a Valk play? can they jump into swarms of enemies?

You didnt miss ANYTHING, homefront was a terribly PoS and if it didnt say beta id assume it was pre-alpha with placeholder everything from interface to characters and animation. It honestly seemed like amateur hour and that the game belonged on PS3 or something.
