The gold upgrades are pretty big upgrades but there are only two in addition to the one you start with when you get the artifact. The passive stuff does make things feel stronger and better but overall they are very incremental boost for a pretty smooth increase in power.

The main issue is the NPC tank in there is pretty garbage and takes a ton of unnecessary damage. Currently disc has problems if the tank is a derp and is not doing his job well in five man groups. This is why they are so much better in raids lots of aoe heals to spread around and extra dps.

In my testing it works with a player tank who is using his mitigation abilities and not standing in shit he should not be standing in. It is a lot more hectic and target switchy play style though than other healers. I think it would work better in a raid where they would work really well as raid...

Disc is pretty odd basically what you need to do is get attonment on all your targets you need to heal then DPS hard. Most of your healing is coming from your damage and your shadowmend to help burst healing needs. I think this will wind up being mostly a prefered raiding type spec single healer...

They are really really nice. Even with my prot warriors artifacts I would be tempted to transmog them them to this as it is a really nice classic look for the shield and sword. The horde ax is meh but the horde staff is also very nice.

The main problem with rapidly switching on the fly is basically why have talents at all if it happens. Simply give people all three of the talents at once. If you can always have the right talent for each location then you effectively have all of them so why have an interface or switching at all.
