Eeeh, I don't know....Part of why the book and the movie worked a lot for me was because I could somehow relate with Rob.
Sure wouldn't work the same with a genderswap.
I love how she keeps discovering completely retarded things by comboing shit, ending with things like that flying turtle.
Truly what we call emergent gameplay.
After going through all the trouble of licensing it, Funimation drops Interspecies Reviewers after 3 episodes.
Funimation Removes Interspecies Reviewers Anime as it 'Falls Outside' Company's Standards
I don't know what they expected.
BOFURI may be the most realistic MMO anime I've seen.
Protag discovers a completely OP build, only to see it nerfed quickly after, complete with patch notes.
I was expecting this to be a shitty thread bump again, but thank god we finally have a release date.
May have to start reading it again from tome 10 or something at least.
What bothers me is the cliffhanger ending. I think he is going back to Mistborn books after this one, so it'll probably be years before tome 3 where we figure out what happens.
Yeah, I was rereading about book 2 and 3 on wikipedia and shit really gets wild there, so I have no idea how they will adapt some stuff.
I kinda have a hard time with Lyra's actor. She is highly punchable.
Doesn't help that the .1 MSQ is usually "eh...", but they adhere to a pretty standard formula at this point :
- .1 patch is about the aftermath of expansion MSQ and starts the path on resolving a few plot points
- .2 ramps up
- .3 is the real end of the expansion storyline.
- .4 and .5 start up...
Yeah, this show is shaping up to be entertaining. Retarded goddess made me chuckle a few times.
Oresuki was fun too. Too bad they gave the whole setup away in the trailer though.
Caster Gilgamesh is one of the major characters yes, albeit more of a background one and not in the main adventuring squad for most of it. He's got a few nice moments though.
Also, this takes place during his lifetime, so he is not a Servant at this point.
The Servant cast for this is amazing...
If you enjoy sport type anime, I highly recommend catching up with Chihayafuru. The subject matter, Karuta, is not really a sport, it's more like Shogi in Sangatsu no Lion, but you'll find the same tropes as a good sport show.
Been marathoning the two previous 25 episodes season and it's pretty...
Yeah I'll give Fairy Gone S2 a try, first one was OK.
As far as Nanatsu goes, yeah, i'm dubious too. Probably won't follow fansubs this time around, and wait for the Netflix release, people will have an opinion to share by then.
Just started watching Chihayafuru because I heard it was good and...
What I'm looking forward to:
- FGO Babylonia of course, hype levels over 9000.
- Granblue Fantasy S2 as I rather liked S1
- New season of Sword Arts Online Alicization
Some other standouts :
- Psychopass S3
- New season of Shokugeki no Souma
- New season of Nanatzu no Taizai
@Amod Please...
They are tightly tuned for 30 minutes runs. That's the goal the dev went with. So yeah, they are slow. They are not meant to be as quick as a full group. Why you would run them as a tank is the better question though.
Ultimately you'd never want to Edge randomly outside of raids buffs, except when you are going to overcap on mana. So you'd more probably stay around 6k mana more than 3k.
After that, it's all a matter of learning the encounter, when you can use TBN for raid wides, how to time it with...
