Weird, this is the exact opposite of my experience. I remember thanking the devs for making OTHER things prioritized over messages. I don’t think I ever encountered this issue… got a specific example? Opening doors/chests, looting from said chests, using levers… literally all are prioritized.

The only world-state change like that is the burning of the Erdtree, and then the fall of the capital when you kill Maliketh. No other world state changes from killing Elden Beast that I'm aware of. It doesn't return you to an earlier point in time, that's the wrong way to think about it.

I especially like how at several points in the game he hits walls, and racks his brain for a possible solution. Was cool to see his final jumping solution that ended up working for a prior jump he had to technically use the horse for.

I absolutely love how people come up with silly rules for challenge runs. I can't think of any other game(s) that have such a large "Could I do THIS?" gallery. IronPineapple does a lot of them, and this one was particularly cool, I thought. This game is just so damn cool.

That level of detail is why FromSoft's worlds are so engaging. That is amazing.
