I picked up the skill that lets you glide up once per flight. But if you cancel your glider and resummon quickly, you can use it again and basically fly for as long as you have stamina (assuming your mana regen isn't sucky)

I always appreciated the world building and how detailed everything was in these games. UC4 had a slow mid if I remember right, but I loved exploring the last outdoor area, even reloaded after accidentally triggering the cut scene :P
