Man, 49ers and injuries are apparently a never ending thing.
Jimmy G out at least a couple weeks it sounds like. Trent Williams has a seriously potential shoulder injury of some sort. Sounds like he was kinda emotional on the sideline, and that's never a good sign.
Fuck me.
I really hope the yellow team continues to lose until it is down to 2 people. Don't let them off the hook by merging or swapping teams.
So fucking dumb
Man, Deebo is really blossoming this year. I hope he can stay healthy. He plays with such violence, and the 49ers have shit luck for injury, that it makes me worry for him.
Most smart 49er fans are clamoring for Lance because we already know what we have in Jimmy, and Lance isn't learning shit on the bench. If Jimmy isn't going to elevate your team to a win, what is the point of leaving him in?
This isn't the Jets or Jaguars and throwing a rookie QB to the fire...
When I looked at the NFC West this year, I still wasn't sure about the Cardinals. It was clear they had talent, but I was still on the fence about Murray and didn't think Kingsbury was a very good coach.
Clearly they are showing me I was wrong early on this year.
Yeah I wasn't saying they are out of the game. But the way the game started, the 49ers could have gone up 21-0. But some terrible QB play and questionable play calling, wasted a hot start.
Jimmy G just limits this offense. They can't throw it deep cause he doesn't have the arm, and half of his over the middle throws he somehow doesn't see the underneath defenders.
All the potential the 49ers started this game with, down the drain.
And here come the Seahawks. I knew there was no way the 49ers defense could keep that up for long. 49ers offense got too conservative, and now it looks like going into halftime tied would be the best case scenario.
This is the kind of decision making that really makes me question Shanahan. Your offense is moving good, your kicker is out, so instead of going for it on 4th and 8 you opt for the 41 yard field goal with your punter. And miss.
That Stafford throw was kinda head scratching. It was clear he was going for the long ball no matter what, he didn't even really look before just launching it.
Yeah, Brate and Howard would probably start on most teams. Like you said though, the trust Gronk has with Brady is what makes them work so well together.
Holy shit the Giants actually lost. If they manage to lose tomorrow, and the Dodgers win today and tomorrow, they end in a tie! Man that would be awesome to have game 163 between those 2 at the very end to determine the West.
Dodgers keep pulling out miracles to win, but the fucking Giants refuse to lose. Trea Turner hits a grand slam to tie up the game, and the Beaty hits another HR to take the lead in the 7th.
Hah, I just looked at the Mariners record and run differential. They have a .560 win percent, yet somehow have a -48 run differential. Flip that with the Blue Jays who are at .553 and are +164. That's nuts
My neighbor is a huge Mariners fan, and through the last few weeks he keeps getting his hopes up and expecting them to collapse. Yet here they are, right on the edge. Shit they still have a shot at the West if the Astros lose out!
That Dodgers comeback last night! 4 HR's in the 8th to take the lead.
I mean in the end it probably doesn't matter since the Giants have apparently completely forgotten how to lose, but still an exciting game.
