I don't think they intend for people to get a few poison hits in, then run from the boss until he dies. That's why poison doesn't work on bosses, and it's a very cheesy way to get past many regular mobs. I remember clearing the entire Dragon Aerie in DS2 with 4 poison arrows per dragon.

isn't 90% of the game immune to poison anyways?

Not that far into the game yet, but so far Zombie Jesus has been the most annoying enemy for me. So fucking fast. and coming second is the saw guys, who get a free 180? turn if you hit them four times from behind. Cheap.

If you run two monitors, you can just open the ESC menu and run the mouse out. Far smoother than many dedicated PC titles handle multiple monitors. Alt tab performance is terrible, though.

I've also made a blessed mace for catacombs, and a Fire Battle Axe for those maggot enemies - they get stunlocked for over two seconds on a single hit. if BD doesn't have dungeons and relies on PVP for endgame, it is pretty much the antithesis of EQ and reminds me a lot more of lineage 2 - but even that had dungeons. I'm not even sure what to think of a game without dungeons...

Yes that's what I meant, road of sacrifice. However, they don't drop it. They're actually using lance attacks from previous souls games with their poles. And what's wrong with that swamp? You always move at max speed and there's no poison

You get so few souls in this game, I am level 55 after 20 hours and I did not excessively lose souls or buy items. Handmaid charges 800 souls for a single small shard, that's 9600 just to get to +3. I don't get why they doubled it.

Anyone else having massive performance drops and outright freezes in the Cathedral fo the Deep? And can you buy infinite shards and large shards somewhere?

The infinite Poise of Darkwraiths definitely is irritating. I don't get why they're making certain builds invalid simply by making stronger enemies flat out immune to their strengths.

I would love to see stats on DS1 and DS2 regarding how many fights are won by the invader and how many by the defender.... if it's something ridiculously lopsided, no reason to turn it on.

I saw it as that, some bonus souls to start with, so I picked it, knowing that using it right away would be the best choice, whereas all the other consumables you never know when to use them, so they're still in your inventory when you defeat the final boss.

landscapes are definitely back I haven't noticed any mechanic punishing me double for repeatedly dying, if that's what you mean by the effigy mechanic Cookpot enemies are definitely more irritating than hard though

Nothing in this game stays dead it seems, unless it had a boss hp bar.

Good thing it still doesn't recognize mouse 345.... Did anyone get their extra mouse buttons to work? Even binding a regular keyboard binding like backspace or "T" to the mouse through the logitech software, then binding that key to the control doesn't seem to work
