Teostra is rough as a bow user, first time I've actually failed a quest. Got him on the second try though, his fire shit can be kinda hard to read.

I did end up getting rarity 6 jewels from it, namely that poison coat one. I did use my daily vouchers though, not sure if that effects drops or just straight cash rewards. Couple people on discord said they got the elementless jewel from it too.

Yeah I noticed the glowy things just as the timer ran out. Didn't catch them beforehand as I was running for my life from Kush's wind shit, which also happens to make seeing anything fucking hard!

I hate farming Nerg. I really need to get better at avoiding his dive bomb shit, it's the only thing that fucks me up. I need one more tail to get his bow done too, it's annoying hoping I get lucky with gold rewards as cutting his tail as a bow main sucks balls.

I keep like 4 elemental bows to swap around and am building a raw bow for the multi hunt quests. With the Rath two piece it's pretty decent as bows apply elemental damage on each arrow. Here is a speed run of a dude focusing on ele damage:

The game on the Wii U was especially bad as it was the one with the underwater battles, which were fucking awful. I wanted to keep playing but just said fuck this after a while. MHW is such a better game, every QoL aspect is a nice change.

Messed around with a Skeleton Mage build before I got bored, felt really strong too. Straight spectre is better for bosses but skel mages feel good for clear. A lot less babysitting as well, the jewels are cheap too.

Still learning Bow but it feels great to use. I use it as my backup to my Longsword but debating going full time with it. I just have the water and thunder ones for now but going to farm up the mats for the Anjanath one too.

No clue what is going on in Fate/Extra.

For Anjanath I just needed to get my defense up to around 70. I think that stopped the two hit KO stuff, carted once on his quest due to getting blasted by his fire attack I didn't see coming.

Bows can only use certain coatings depending on the bow. Should be able to check what coatings you can use when looking at the bow.
