Can someone elaborate on why people say two handers suck here. Just got Rallos two hander and not sure if I should be using it even though it's a pretty decent upgrade.
PoP flagged now, Emp will be a brick wall without a geared tank and at least 2 healers. Had full Vulak gear and some luclin pieces with full tank AAs and he could still 1 round with his 4k nuke. Second snake in Cursed cycle too maybe. Everything else should be manageable without a tank.
Only been velious flagged for 2 days or so, cleared ToV and Sleepers without much issue so far. My war/shaman is 65 but the dude I play with is 58, so I guess we'll try the giants when he's levelled a bit more.
Velious has been a pretty big step up in terms of how much damage raid mobs do compared to Kunark. Single shaman as a healer won't be able to keep up on most things especially with a lot more unslowable mobs.
Guild is moving to Horde for bfa and moving to a weekend raid schedule instead of the standard Tuesday-Thursday thing. Going to lose some raiders in the process cause some people are very attached to Alliance for some reason. I've been pretty much swapping factions every expansion or every...
I had that too, it got worse as we did more pulls per night so was definitely some addon for me. I disabled meters and did a /reload every 10 pulls or so and it helped a bit.
Game 2 of grand finals "They'll just kill everyone around invoker and then kill him twice, he's not strong enough yet to be a threat." Miracle Invoker proceeds to kill everyone in the very next fight, lol.
They've said at one point that the pole will carry forward. As for grinding it, I found the quickest way is to fish up the lures that let you see the hidden pools in Stormheim.
There was a hardcore pet battler in my last guild. Had every pet levelled, wrote some of the wowhead/whatever guides for doing the argus unique fights with just 1 pet family, still complained there was nothing to do and quit.
Seems like half the raid doesn't want to bother getting a legit Argus kill. First reclear in 1.5 months, missing 5-8 people both days so far. Having to put in socials that have never stepped foot in mythic will probably make everyone else not want to do it either.
People quit mythic raiding because you can't maintain a mythic roster unless you're already raiding mythic. You can't recruit and hope to get any competent people for mythic when you run a group of 15 that do heroic. It is very rare to be able to transition from the casual, retard friendly...
Split raiding is really just between the guilds already in competition to try and one up each other, even without it no other guilds will be competing with method or exorsus when they raid 18 hours a day till content is cleared. Just a bad decision all around.
Was getting Argus to 10%, then last pull of the night he bugged out at start of phase 3 and didn't use any abilities. Raid leader called to kill it so we did, don't feel good about it at all.
New bug with Aggramar, get close to 35% wait for a technique, push him during the tempest part and he doesn't go into transition or gain the empowered abilities of last phase. Small Indie company.
No one playing wow wants some AA grinding shit, the stupidity of artifacts and legendaries holding back changing specs or characters in legion was bad enough.
Argus is a long ass hill but there are clear markers along the way. Made no % progress this week into p3, but we stopped using the tree resses to get to the same spot so now we're at the whole raid res step and the tree is actually there. We're at 283 pulls, so another 100 or so to go maybe.
We had a roster of 25 before the raid extensions started now we are at 21 but very close to 100% attendance from everyone, we've only had to call 1 raid due to attendance in the past 3 weeks. We also had 1 dude app during the extension and he pretty much just sits every day and I can't...
I miss having the 10 man versions of the hardest difficulty, heroic nowadays is a joke and gets boring way too fast but trying to keep a stable roster for mythic is just not worth it if you just want to do stuff with your few close friends. Mythic plus is a good addition except the rewards...
Played this 1.5-2 years ago. This is the one mmo when I played it where there is an actual challenging solo end goal, which is to complete vma. Think I did it at 130-140 AAs and I've never had so much adrenaline from a video game before.
