Seriously man no one makes Arena Net do shit at NC. First and foremost their isn't enough structure left in the states with the authority to tell Anet a fucking thing. Secondly none of the executive staff in Korea can make a decision and those that do exist lack talent to execute anything or...
I think another thing to note about their cash shop is that they wanted it to function similar to Eve's flex but instead of getting money out of the system you trade gold for gems and vice versa I think. Someone who actually plays the game would have a better handle on it than me.
@Utnayan I think this is rumor and conjecture. Mike O'Brien is incredibly protective of the GW brand and IP, I know for a fact that a cash shop was always in the plans for GW2 however they would not have P2W items beyond things like experience boosts and the like. I suspect if that was the case...
@Utnayan That could be the case. I don't know as much about their GW2's cash shop or the direct Nexon connections. I personally find it difficult to believe that NC got Anet to do anything that they weren't somehow into doing but they are owned by Korea vs being owned by NCWest.
ps. sorry...
This is really the a key point. As for marketing I believe all marketing is also being handled by Carbine vs NC. There was a change after the shut down of Seattle where some execs now work out of Anet offices but there shouldn't be any NC specific marketeers left, those are all handled by either...
NCsoft is Korea, the idea of a western run NC is long gone (Any NC offices in OC now are staffed with ex-pat Koreans from NCKorea), It died right after Jeff Strain and crew split the company between Austin and Seattle and then immediately bounced with tiny little parachutes. My point over all is...
*cough* Carbine is going to have a lot more control than you think. In fact all the NA... well Arena and Carbine both have pretty much full control over everything that is their brand now anything you hear differently is spin on their part for their incompetence. So bad decisions are really...
This is whats making me crazy, i felt like that was the entire finale and intrinsic to the revenge plot. In all fairness I usually give remakes a chance, to me its like going to see another production of Hamlet or something but this just bothers me.

Its been a long long time since a remake has pissed me off... fuck spike lee he's a fuckingpussyassshitbag. I'm sooooooooo looking foward to the unwashed masses screaming about how awesome the hallway fight scene is going to be...
*Sigh of course this was going to happen, so many people working this game hate endgame and raids especially. I can picture a meeting where the brought up CoH's endgame of playing as a new character (name escapes me) and they all circle-jerked themselves silly in adoration of how awesome they...
*sigh I kept putting of upgrading my account to pro and now they are all gone. I did upgrade it to King though, fuck i also spent the day at a card shop trading up for new magic cards. I am 42 years old and this is unacceptable behavior.
TBH I think its set at the wrong price point. I got it super cheap at $5 bucks (industry connections). I do enjoy playing the game but its more Borderlands 2.5 or something then an MMO and I don't feel the need to burn through it in a week. I have not purchased any of the dlc because of course...
So I would like to add some further thoughts on the series now that I finished it. I don't know what the fuck they were thinking but that last episode is maybe one of the single worst pieces of TV I have ever witnessed. There are maybe 5 mins of it that they should have done and left it alone...
I kind of like the show, everywhere I read about it online talks about it being boring but it seems to move quick enough for me. I like that its a highschool thing and that not all the "monsters" are a-typical. Also Femke!
Looks like its just an "starter" island, do you see how more land is in the distance? As a previous poster said it looks like a mix of AoC & SWTOR and TERA combat so that's nice I guess. Online version of the previous Elder Scrolls game? Shares some UI but so far that appears to be it.
Yes. This is the company that was founded either right after or right before vanilla WoW launched. Looking at the linked-in profiles a lot of people that were at Blizzard are at Carbine now.
